I looked out today

I heard the children
Playing in the distance
I knew the sun
Had to come round

Don't they realize its night

I saw the man on tv
Talking about the news
The weather girl
Was all smiles
Sports guy just stood there
I think he was the only one
He realized night had overtaken
The day
Willfully ignorant
Or horribly dazed
No one seems to realize
This is the end of my days
